The stay was fantastic with a comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast buffet featuring tons of options. I really enjoyed unwinding by the lovely pool and relaxing in the cozy lounge area after a day of exploring. A slight downside was the sound insulation, as I could hear some noise from the hallway, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 😊

Strategic location near metro and bus stations.
I faced several unsettling issues during my stay. For starters, the noise level from airplanes flying directly overhead was unbearable and disrupted my sleep. The room walls were extremely thin, allowing sound from the corridor and other guests to invade my peace, especially with housekeepers slamming doors. To add to the discomfort, I found the cleanliness of the room disappointing, with noticeable marks on the floors and a general lack of attention to detail. Overall, it felt more like a budget stay than what was advertised.

The location really shines with its proximity to the metro and bus stations for easy transport, along with a couple of clean glasses and earplugs left in the room for the noise from the nearby road and planes.
However, the rooms come up short—the pictures don't match reality, and noise insulation is practically non-existent with every outside sound seeping in. Dealing with check-in hassles, a missing fridge, a lack of common amenities, and maintenance issues like overflowing showers made the stay less enjoyable. The breakfast setup in a dark basement with no windows was a downer, too.

Things I wish I knew before I tried it
My stay was fantastic! The breakfast was outstanding, featuring fresh fruits and delightful pastries. The staff were incredibly friendly, helping with every question. The room was clean, neat, and had great water pressure. The location was strategic, with grocery shops and restaurants nearby, and metro access was only 9 minutes away.

The breakfast at Icons in Lisbon exceeded my expectations, featuring fresh pastries and delightful cappuccinos. The staff, particularly Sofia at the reception, impressed me with her helpfulness when arranging a taxi. The twin room with a balcony felt modern and clean, providing a cozy space to relax. However, the noise from airplanes passing overhead was quite disruptive, making it difficult to find sleep. The mattress was uncomfortably hard, detracting from my overall comfort. Additionally, while the bathrooms had nice amenities like a jet spray, maintenance issues, such as mould on the blinds, were noticeable. The location is decent with grocery shops and restaurants nearby, but for those with mobility challenges, the hotel is a little hard to access due to the steps leading to the breakfast area.
